Viterbo – AVIS, honorary president Federici urges donating before the holidays

"Let's keep the tradition going. Every year, just a few days before Christmas, let us remember to donate blood.". Maurizio Federici, honorary president of the municipal donor group Avis, asks. "This year, due to logistical and organizational issues, it will not be possible to use the bloodmobile in Piazza del Plebiscito. For this reason, as honorary president of the blood donor group in the city council, I appeal to administrators, especially young people, city staff and all citizens: let us donate our blood by going to the SIMT in Viterbo at the Belcolle’hospital. I would like to thank the city councilor, president of the organ and tissue donor group Mario Quintarelli, who in recent days publicly urged fellow councilors to donate. Typically, it was Dec. 18 when the bloodmobile was stationed in the square.

Let's try to keep the same date, this time with a small effort to move to Belcolle". Interested parties are reminded that a modest breakfast can be eaten before donating. Milk and dairy products (e.g., yogurt) should be excluded.
